LUXCRYL PGA RAPID is a violet braided rapidly absorbable surgical suture with a taper-cut needle, providing controlled penetration, secure knotting and fast absorption for soft tissue closure.
LUXCRYL PGA RAPID is a high-quality braided rapidly absorbable surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin (PGA) rapid, developed for soft tissue approximation where short-term wound support and predictable, fast absorption are clinically required. Produced to stringent European quality standards, it delivers reliable handling and consistent clinical performance.
This variant is supplied in USP 2/0 (EP 3) with an extended 90 cm suture length and a 1/2 circle taper-cut needle measuring 36 mm. The taper-cut needle combines smooth tissue separation with enhanced cutting efficiency at the needle tip, allowing controlled penetration and accurate wound edge approximation, particularly in denser or more resistant soft tissues.
