This LuxSutures® LuxPTFE Dental Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code PT30DS19, is designed for secure oral soft tissue approximation where increased tensile strength and enhanced needle penetration are required. Manufactured from high-purity polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) monofilament, LuxPTFE provides ultra-smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reaction and reliable long-term tensile support.

The USP 3-0 size delivers greater tensile performance for procedures requiring stronger wound stability, including implant placement, ridge augmentation, sinus lift surgery and periodontal flap stabilisation. The 60 cm white strand ensures excellent surgical visibility and controlled knot placement.

PT30DS19 is supplied single-armed with one DS19 reverse cutting needle measuring approximately 19 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature. The reverse cutting configuration enhances penetration through keratinised gingiva and denser oral tissues while reducing the risk of tissue cut-through and supporting precise wound edge alignment.
