This LuxSutures® LuxPTFE Dental Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code PT30HR20, is designed for secure oral soft tissue approximation where increased tensile strength and long-term wound stability are required. Manufactured from high-purity polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) monofilament, LuxPTFE provides ultra-smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reaction and dependable tensile strength retention.

The USP 3-0 size delivers greater tensile performance compared with finer gauges, making it suitable for implant surgery, ridge augmentation, sinus lift procedures and periodontal flap stabilisation where stronger tissue support is necessary. The 60 cm white strand ensures excellent visibility and controlled handling during closure.

PT30HR20 is supplied single-armed with one HR20 round bodied taper point needle measuring approximately 20 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature. The taper point configuration enables atraumatic penetration through soft oral tissues while supporting precise wound edge alignment.
