This LuxSutures® LuxPTFE Dental Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code PT40HR16, is designed for controlled oral soft tissue approximation where long-term wound stability and minimal tissue reaction are required. Manufactured from high-purity polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) monofilament, LuxPTFE provides ultra-smooth tissue passage, reduced bacterial adherence and dependable tensile strength retention.

The USP 4-0 size offers enhanced tensile performance suitable for implant placement, guided bone regeneration (GBR), ridge augmentation and periodontal flap closure. The 60 cm white strand ensures excellent visibility and precise knot control within the surgical field.

PT40HR16 is supplied single-armed with one HR16 round bodied taper point needle measuring approximately 16 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature. The taper point configuration enables atraumatic penetration through delicate oral soft tissue while supporting secure wound edge adaptation.
