This LuxSutures® LuxPTFE Dental Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code PT50DS19, is designed for controlled oral soft tissue closure where enhanced penetration and precise wound edge approximation are required. Manufactured from high-purity polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) monofilament, LuxPTFE delivers ultra-smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reaction and dependable long-term tensile strength retention.

The USP 5-0 size provides balanced tensile control suitable for implant placement, guided bone regeneration (GBR), periodontal flap management and soft tissue grafting procedures. The 60 cm white strand ensures excellent surgical visibility and controlled knot placement within delicate oral tissues.

PT50DS19 is supplied single-armed with one DS19 reverse cutting needle measuring approximately 19 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature. The reverse cutting configuration enhances penetration through keratinised gingiva and denser oral tissue while reducing the risk of tissue cut-through and supporting precise wound edge alignment.
