LUXCRYL PGA RAPID is a violet braided rapidly absorbable surgical suture with a taper needle, providing smooth tissue passage, secure knotting and fast absorption for soft tissue closure.

LUXCRYL PGA RAPID is a high-quality braided rapidly absorbable surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin (PGA) rapid, developed for soft tissue approximation where short-term wound support and predictable, fast absorption are clinically required. Produced to stringent European quality standards, it delivers reliable handling and consistent clinical performance.

This variant is supplied in USP 0 (EP 3.5) with a 90 cm suture length and a 1/2 circle taper needle measuring 40 mm. The taper needle geometry separates tissue fibres rather than cutting them, allowing smooth penetration with reduced tissue trauma and controlled wound edge approximation, particularly in thicker or deeper soft tissues.
