Silicone-coated polyester braided non-absorbable surgical suture supplied with reverse cutting needle for controlled tissue penetration, excellent knot security and long-term tensile wound support.

LuxSutures Luxpet® Polyester Braided Non-Absorbable Surgical Sutures are designed for reliable soft tissue approximation where high tensile strength and controlled penetration are required.

Manufactured from polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET), this braided multifilament suture provides excellent knot security, high tensile strength and dependable handling. A silicone coating enhances smooth tissue passage and reduces drag during suturing.

This configuration is supplied with a DS 30 mm 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle, supporting controlled penetration of tougher tissues and precise wound edge approximation. Luxpet sutures are non-absorbable and become gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, delivering permanent wound support with minimal tissue reaction.
