Silicone-coated polyester braided non-absorbable surgical suture supplied double armed with tapercut needles for controlled tissue penetration, excellent knot security and long-term tensile wound support.

LuxSutures Luxpet® Polyester Braided Non-Absorbable Surgical Sutures are engineered for precise soft tissue approximation where bilateral needle access and durable tensile strength are required.

Manufactured from polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET), this braided multifilament suture delivers excellent knot security, high tensile strength and dependable handling. A silicone coating enhances smooth tissue passage and reduces drag during suturing.

This double armed configuration is supplied with 2 × HRT 17 mm tapercut needles, combining taper geometry with a cutting edge to support controlled penetration of denser tissues while maintaining accurate wound edge approximation. Luxpet sutures are non-absorbable and become gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, providing permanent wound support with minimal tissue reaction.
