Silicone-coated polyester braided non-absorbable surgical suture supplied with reverse cutting needle for precise soft tissue closure, excellent knot security and long-term tensile wound support.

LuxSutures Luxpet® Polyester Braided Non-Absorbable Surgical Sutures are designed for reliable soft tissue approximation where durable tensile strength and consistent handling are required.

Manufactured from polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET), this braided multifilament suture provides excellent knot security, high tensile strength and dependable handling characteristics. A silicone coating improves smooth tissue passage and reduces drag during suturing.

This configuration is supplied with a DS 24 mm 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle, enabling controlled penetration of tougher tissues while supporting accurate wound edge approximation. Luxpet sutures are non-absorbable and become gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, delivering permanent wound support with minimal tissue reaction.
