LuxSutures POLYESTER White Veterinary Surgical Sutures are premium non-absorbable braided multifilament sutures manufactured by LuxSutures from polyester, a polymer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The braided construction offers reliable handling characteristics and strong knot security, making LuxSutures Polyester suitable for veterinary procedures requiring permanent or extended wound support.

LuxSutures Polyester sutures are silicone coated to improve handling, reduce tissue drag and support smooth passage through tissue during placement. As a non-absorbable material, LuxSutures Polyester sutures are not enzymatically absorbed and are gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, maintaining tensile strength over time.
